There seems to be more and more sites offering weight loss tips, support and programs on the internet. One of the offshoots of this is areas and sites for weight loss chat.
Places such as these might offer message boards as the means to talk to others about their weight loss experiences and what has worked or not worked for them. Another form of weight loss chat could be a more live version where one enters a room where people are engaged in anon-line discussion.
Many of the more prominent weight loss programs are now offering the option to join weight loss chat rooms where members can find support or even new ideas.
The fact remains however, that no amount of just talking about weight loss will take off any pounds. Even many, many hours spent in front of the computer talking about and gathering information on weight loss won’t burn any calories.
There are positive things about weight loss chat areas such as support and camaraderie. However, the real way to drop pounds is to work out a manageable safe plan of diet and exercise with your physician and then stick to the plan.
Remember there is no magic solution for getting to your desired weight.
